If you ’ve lived in the Big Apple for any amount of time , you ’ve more than likely taken the Subway . You ’ve also credibly wasted plenty of sentence gaze at the map . Our video recording editor Matt Toder throw together a video of the Subway map ’s development , commence with a map crafted 100 years ago .

One affair I never actualise is that the geartrain lines all started in Brooklyn , and not Manhattan . And it ’s also fun to take in the map work into something of a ocular , hem , trainwreck . I had kinda just assumed every full point had been around for a million years . Clearly I was wrong .
