And if Maggie is travel to sit in her cell and not talk to Glenn all daylight ( understandable , but arguably boring television system ) then we ’re kind of out of any form of new emotional character growth to search . Hell we ’ve already circled the Carol - and - Daryl dance 1,000 times over . And Merle and Daryl had their encounter in the woods . Rick has been ( hopefully ) shocked out of his catatonic nation by Morgan … we need something !

Are you afraid of the Governor ? I mean , really ? Merle was the one who mercilessly beat the ever - loving peeing out of Glenn . Merle was the one who seemed to get off on it . The comic book Governor is infinitely more daunting , and not just because he cuts off Rick ’s hand . But permit ’s not forget the guy CUTS OFF RICK ’S HAND very ahead of time into their first meeting , distinctly indicating he was mental — so countenance ’s do it . Right now we ’re more afraid that Rick will spend the rest of the time of year chasing Ghost Lori than of anything the Governor could inflict .
