Concept ArtistSteven Chinhsuan Wangposted this nerveless redesign of Darth Vader purpose to Artstation recently , and while it ’s a not bad design for Star Wars ’ Sith Lord , the most interesting affair about it is the crazy lightsaber design . You thought The Force Awakens ’ Crossguard Lightsaber was weird !
First off , here ’s the full patch of art :
It ’s rather cool – a very modern aesthetic with all that body armour , and while the mask does n’t quite evoke Vader to me ( it reminds me ofDestiny ’s Warlocksmore than anything ) , it ’s still a cracking smell for a Sith character . But appear at that Lightsaber ! It sort of look like Luke ’s preparation remote control , with just , you know a freaking lightsaber blade shooting out of it alternatively of stun blast . The fact that it float around too is weird – would this Vader user the forcefulness to swing out his deathball Lightsaber around ? There ’s even other emitters dot all over it , presumably for other saber beam to come out of . masses were confused about the practicality of Kylo Ren ’s Lightsaber stimulate small crossguards , this just seems like it ’s guaranteed to prune your own arm off .
