possibly walk around a living - sized labyrinth made of single file folders is a demonic work focus dream you ’ve had before . But artistEmmanuelle Moreauxhas brought a similar idea to life in a rainbow of aninstallationfor Japan’sShinjuku Creators Festa 2013 .
The piece of music is called100 Colors , named for the one hundred unlike hues Moreaux has suspend from the ceiling . The colors were chosen from the thousands of shades produced by a Takeo , a Nipponese paper manufacturing business . Moreaux also aver the installation was directly inspired by Japan and its colorfulenvironments :
When I first come in Tokyo , I was fully fascinated by the colors overflowing on the street . In that very moment , my mind decided to move to japan . Overwhelming number of storage signs , flying electrical cables , and flashes of blue sky framed by various bulk of buildings , created three dimensional ‘ level ’ in the city . The deluge of various colours penetrate the street built up a complex depth and intensity in the space . these indelible experience of colors and layers in tokyo were the stirring and pith of my purpose conception of ‘ shikiri ’ , which signify divide ( produce ) distance with colors .

100 Colors is on presentation until the end of the month , and it ’s signify to be interactive . The artist has purposely placed beanbag chairs beneath the 840 mainsheet , inviting the consultation to engage with the piece . It ’s unlikely the pictures do 100 Colors jurist , but you wager it ’s in all likelihood the closest matter to sitting at heart of a rainbow . [ DesignBoom ]
