The “Dream On” band postponed the next six concerts, all of which were rescheduled for January and February 2024. They will play Detroit on Jan. 29; Chicago on Feb. 14; Washington, D.C. on Feb. 17; Toronto on Feb. 21; Raleigh, North Carolina on Feb. 26; and Cleveland on Feb. 29.

All previously purchased tickets will be accepted at the new dates. Refunds will be available for fans who cannot attend the new dates.

The news comes just three shows into Aerosmith’sPeace Out: The Farewell Tour,which began on Sept. 2 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The Bad Boys from Boston played a hit-filled setlist that included “Love in an Elevator,” “Janie’s Got a Gun,” “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” “Sweet Emotion,” and “Walk This Way.” They also paid tribute to Fleetwood Mac with a cover of “Stop Messin’ Around.”

The concert marked the band’s 40th concert in Philadelphia. Original band membersJoe Perry, Tom Hamilton, andBrad Whitfordjoined Tyler. John Douglas replaced original drummer Joey Kramer behind the kit. Kramer took a “temporary leave of absence” from the band in March 2022, sitting out the band’sDeuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency. His wife, Linda,died at age 55 in June 2022.

In May 2022, the band put the Las Vegas residency on hold when Tylerentered a treatment program for relapseafter undergoing foot surgery to prepare for the band’s return to the stage.

“As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years,” the band shared in a statement last year. “After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery.”
