Agent Carter is in for some big changes next season , with Peggy Carter move from New York to the Hollywood glamour of 1940s Los Angeles . At San Diego Comic - Con , the show ’s cast and work party cod what ’s onwards for Peggy and Jarvis , and Howard Stark ’s new Hollywood aspirations .
Agent Carter stars Hayley Atwell and James D’Arcy and showrunners Tara Butters and Michelle Fazekas were in San Diego today to beleaguer a bit of what ’s onward for the 2nd time of year and the lover response to time of year one .
The new time of year , we were told , opens in 1947 , about six months after the first time of year closing curtain . We see that not everyone at the Strategic Scientific Reserve is still in New York , and certain other hoi polloi are n’t on speaking terms anymore . But before this can all be resolved , Peggy is called to Los Angeles to solve a murder .
The showrunners observe that the grisly Black Dahlia murder , in which aspiring starlet Elizabeth Short was found mutilated in Leimert Park , Los Angeles , accept place in 1947 , and they wanted to capture both the refinement of forties Hollywood and the plastic film noir genre . Of naturally , Peggy wo n’t be alone in Los Angeles . Jarvis , it turn out , is already there , setting up Howard Stark ’s Beverly Hills estate . Just a quick note : You may have seen on Twitter or elsewhere that when babble about the multiple quixotic possibilities , Fazekas joked , “ She ’s a cyprian ! ” It was certainly the wrong joke to make in that locus for Agent Carter of all things , but in soul , it was readable that Fazekas was being ironic , if thoughtless .
D’Arcy talk a second about coming into the role of Jarvis and how the show rapidly turn his expected value on their principal .
