ISS astronaut Tim Peake lately photograph a pic of an erupting volcano on Russia ’s far east coast . It ’s so decipherable you may even see how the C. P. Snow has melted around its tip .
Peake , who is a famed photographer , captured the exposure early yesterdayas the ISS flew overhead . The photo was take from the space station with a sideway take in slant , giving it an almost 3D , tiltshift - like perspective . A feather of ash tree and gas pedal can be see rising out of the volcano , known as Klyuchevskaya , which started acting up again earlier this calendar month . Klyuchevskaya volcano is locate on the Kamchatka Peninsula , which is home to many active volcanoes .
Astute observerswill remember this volcano from another ISS phototaken back in 2013 . It ’s also just stunning .
