Withthe star of the show go , many have wonder what will come about in season two of Batwoman . Would Kate Kane , the lead characterplayed by Ruby Rose , be kill off ? Would someone else just become that character ? Over the last few 24-hour interval , despite some misinformation , most of that has been cleared up .
Last calendar week Batwoman showrunner Caroline Dries unveil that , though she did briefly consider“the ‘ goop opera house version’”where a novel actor is magically the sure-enough character , the plan will beto make a new character(reportedly also a lesbian ) to put on the cape and the cowl . This week , unsubstantiated rumour come on that Dries and her squad were going to kill Kate during the time of year , which clearly upset fans of the splendidly reformist and inclusive show . It turns out though , that is not the case .

“ As a lesbian who ’s been working as a writer for the past 15 years , I ’m well aware of the ‘ Bury Your Gays ’ trope and I have no interest in participating in it,”Dries write . “ Like you , I love Kate Kane … We’ll never erase her . In fact , her disappearing will be one of the mystery of season two . ”

Which is , obviously , very good news . The question is when that mystery is solved , how will the show cover that Kate is n’t around anymore ( as a reminder , Bruce Wayne has been missing for old age already ) . Will Rose come back to cameo ? Will a body double be see from behind ? Will the show usance edit scenes from the first season ? To let on that would be to reveal one of the braggy question Dries is hoping will get people to find out time of year two — so you ’ll have to tune in at the same bat time and same bat duct to recover out more .
