The BBC has just announced the full primary mould for The Watch , ahead of production beginning later this month . The series , set in the iconic city - land of Ankh - Morpork , will follow the escapade of the titular Night Watch ( no relation ) , Ankh - Morpork ’s nonadaptive urban center safety machine , as it attempts to patrol a world of absurdist magical phantasy .
