Cassandra Clare ’s Mortal Instruments novels have a vast following of teenagers and adults , but how will they interpret to the big screen ? So we did n’t see any actual fit from Mortal tool : City of Bones , but we did see a new lagger , which was about half hooey from the preview you already saw . There was all the stuff about Clary Fray ( Lily Collins ) have a normal life in the metropolis , until she sees a demon vote down in front of her in a crowded cabaret — and then she ’s plunged into a human beings of machination and demon and monstrosity and tattoos and crazy shit , fundamentally . Her female parent is kidnapped , and she study that her female parent was a Shadowhunter , and so is she .
But then there were more shots of the library and the demons attacking , and Clary has a close encounter with a tentacle monster that turns into smoke when Jace ( Jamie Campbell Bowers ) kill it . And then there are atrocious animal say that the world is “ ours to take , ” and humanness is on the brink of extinction . Someone tells Clary that Jace thinks he necessitate to write the mankind , but she should n’t advance him .
It all leads to a big band piece where our heroes are trapped in a big banquet residence with a ginormous crowd of demons , massively outnumbered . Until Nathan from the television show Misfits pops up and announces , “ The wolfman are here to save us ! I never thought I ’d ever say that . ” And indeed , werewolves burst in and fight the demons . Because this moving-picture show has everything . Honestly , I ’m there just for Nathan from Misfits .
