Some of the graphic design eccentric over at Kirupa Forum decided to have a ‘ Logo Design Battle , ’ a variety of visual art freestyle challenger , and they prefer Gizmodo to riff off of . And as much as we love our current design ( not that we are n’t always tweak ) , we think it was jolly cool they liked Gizmodo enough to use us as a springboard , so we thought maybe we ’d up the ante a bit and offer a raw JetAudio iAudio M3 20 GB operose disk MP3 role player to the winner of the competition ( after we go over the infernal thing , that is ) . A twosome of modest bluh bluhs : First of all , we ’ve been working on some graphic changes for the last few week ourselves and while we do n’t intend to cop anybody ’s musical theme we also do n’t require to be charge of doing this contest to reap free work ( not that we ’re beyond that , heed you , but we would just execute the contest here , not on someone else ’s web site ) . Anyway , it ’s just a fun little thing and I thought it was coolheaded , but I just want to cockblock the haters decently up front who might prove to bite us . Any similarity in our next design to contend entries will either be coincidental or overtly acknowledge , and no wherein between , alright ?

The other affair is that since we did n’t add up up with the estimate for , and are n’t running the contest , we ca n’t be held responsible for , you know , anything at all . We ’ll keep an middle on it and judge to make certain it ’s fun and sightly and everything , but in the end it ’s not our baby .
