“ From day one we ’ve been in contact with zoological garden professionals all over the body politic , ” Brights Zoo managing director , David Bright , toldWJHL . “ And especially the old timer , that have been around for a long clip , ‘ Hey , have you seen this ? What ’s your thoughts ? ’ And nobody ’s get word it . ”
Though spotless giraffes have been documented before , including one in Japan in the seventies , Brights Zoo release a statement explaining that giraffe experts believe the newborn female giraffe is currently “ the only solid - dark reticulate giraffe living anywhere on the major planet . ”
